GENERAL

Flocking is the process of applying tiny monofilament fibres to a substrate to achieve a soft suede or velvet-like finish. Familiar examples of flocked materials consist of; vehicle glovebox compartments, jewellery box interiors and tool chests/lined boxes.

What can I Flock?

Anything! Flocking is utilised across a large array of industries with the common goal of enhancing the aesthetic appearance, durability, and tactile sensation of an object. Flocking has been prevalent since the late 19th century and was commonly used for numerous artistic ventures such as jewellery boxes, pottery, arts, and ceramics. Today, flocking is extensively used within a large array of industries, more predominately the automotive sector as the preferred method to repair and enhance, vehicle dashboards, gloveboxes, interior trim pieces, motorcycle saddlebags, window rubbers, etc.

No. Our V1 Flock Kits have been discontinued as of late 2023. With the introduction of our successor kit (V2) we welcome refinements to the undercoat adhesive and applicator.

No! Our Flock Kits and Flocking products are handmade, cured and dispatched in house – here in Australia!

Absolutely! We’re able to accommodate custom fibre cuts (lengths & widths) colours and quantities. Special colours can be sampled from basically any colour swatch.

You can login to your Flock Industries account via the dashboard to check on your order history.

In the unfortunate event that your package is damaged in transit, please notify us within 3 days of the parcel being delivered via [email protected]

It’s important to provide clear & descriptive photos of everything you have received and the condition of the parcel and products. 

If your delivery has exceeded the shipping timeframe, please contact the courier prior to initiating a support ticket. If our courier partner is unable to find a suitable location to leave your parcel, it will be relocated to your local post office.

Should the Post office be unable to locate your parcel, please reach out to our Customer Care Team via [email protected].

Please contact [email protected] ASAP. In some instances, we may be able to change the address prior to your order being fulfilled/departing our warehouse.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

We hope that you will be delighted with your Flock Industries purchase! If you change your mind about your purchase, no worries, we accommodate a 30 day return policy! However, it must be unused and unopened. 

We will only provide you with a refund once the product is returned to us, and our team ensures it is unused and in resalable condition.

To be able to return a product, you must provide a valid proof of purchase from flockindustries.com

  • Email your returns form along with a photo of the products you are returning to [email protected]
  • Once approved, ensure your return is well packaged and meets all the pre-requisites outlined in the Returns Policy (located below).
  • Please mark 'Returned Items' clearly on the outer packaging of your parcel.
  • Use an insured tracking delivery service to ensure your parcel reaches us safely.
  • Send a follow up email with your tracking information to [email protected]

  • All return items must be unused, unopened, and complete with original plastic wrapping.
  • We are not responsible for the return shipping costs of the items.
  • Please make sure all return items are well packaged, so as not to be damaged in the post.
  • Please make sure all return packages are sent with a trackable, insured service as we cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit.
  • Please make sure that the returns form has been approved - without approval it may result in your return not being processed.

If you have received the incorrect product or the product you have received is faulty, please email [email protected] with photos and we will assist you with this promptly.

Please ensure you reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your order and don’t dispose of the product, so we can assess your claim.

If you’re having trouble with payment, please ensure that you are using one of our accepted payment methods and that you have sufficient funds on your card. There are a number of reasons why your payment may not be accepted. Should issues persist, please get in contact with us via [email protected].

In line with our promise, we aim to ensure all kits depart our warehouse within hours of purchasing. As a result, we can't guarantee orders can be edited or cancelled once placed. If you would like to edit or cancel your order, please contact us via [email protected] with your order details as soon as possible.
